Eupackardia calleta, commonly known as the Calleta Silkmoth is a species of moth in the Saturniidae family. It is the only species in the genus Eupackardia.[1] It is found in Mexico, Guatemala, and southern Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas in the United States.[2]
The wingspan is 8–11 cm (3.1–4.3 in).[2]
The larvae mainly feed on Fraxinus species, Leucophyllum frutescens, Sapium biloculare and Fouquieria splendens.[2]
